Cats’ Eyes, the 1st Crazy Cat Lady Cozy Mystery

Lynley Cannon is the crazy cat lady, but she’s not quite crazy yet, though a bizarre connection to a bumbled heist and a double homicide has got her wondering. The fifty-something retiree usually enjoys her old Portland home with her clowder of rescue cats, but when elderly Fluffs drags in a dusky brown beach agate that turns out to be a priceless chocolate diamond, things change fast. The uncut stone, one of a pair called the Cats’ Eyes, has been stolen from its wealthy owner, but how it ended up a cat toy, even the robbers cannot guess. Threatened by theft, kidnapping, and murder, Lynley is determined to maintain her serenity, even if it means finding the crooks herself. With the police completely baffled, friends, family, and a hunky humane society investigator come on board to help. The killer, convinced that Lynley has the diamonds, is prepared to go to any lengths to get them back. Will Lynley live to clean the litter box another day?

Copy Cats, The 2nd Crazy Cat Lady Cozy Mystery

If your cat told you there was murder afoot, would you believe him? When cat-lady Lynley Cannon attends a workshop on animal communication–the psychic kind–she never dreams it could lead to a scheme both conniving and deadly. Someone is counterfeiting show cats, but that’s not the worst of it. Their techniques are savage and abusive, and Lynley must find the culprits before they do more harm. To compound matters, there’s a serial killer on the loose, mangling his victims with a gruesome cat-like claw. The crimes are connected, taking crazy to a whole new level.

Cat’s Paw, The 3rd Crazy Cat Lady Cozy Mystery

When cat shelter volunteer Lynley Cannon attends an elite creative retreat at the world-famous Cloverleaf Animal Sanctuary in the San Juan Islands, she gets more than a lesson in art. Accused by vigilantes of a shocking double homicide, she persuades them of her innocence and runs home to Portland, but murder follows in her wake.

Suspicion falls on a dear friend, and Lynley must fight through fear, assault, and her own anxiety disorder to keep from becoming another victim. It all comes down to cats in this 3rd Crazy Cat Lady mystery.

“Starting Cat’s Paw is a lot like a kitten tapping a colorful ball of yarn—soon a claw is caught and there’s no letting go until the whole thing is unwound… A fun read for all you wanna-be cat ladies and mystery fans.” —Ann Littlewood, author of the Zoo Mystery series.

Cat Call, The 4th Crazy Cat Lady Cozy Mystery

Lynley takes over as cat handler for a TV pilot, but the show is “hexed” and murder is waiting in the wings.

When cat-handler Rhonda Kane is injured on the set of a TV mystery pilot, Lynley Cannon steps in to help. The sixty-something cat shelter volunteer is good with Rhonda’s identical red tabbies, but the production proves to be another story. Rumors fly of a mysterious “hex” causing mayhem and misfortune on set.

Hex, or a hoax?

A suspicious death is followed by murder, and Lynley enlists famed actor Ray Anderson and her own granddaughter Seleia to help expose a truth that could topple a career and destroy the show itself.

Cat Café, The 5th Crazy Cat Lady Cozy Mystery, Winner of the World’s Best Litter-ary Award 2019

A body is discovered on the floor of the cat café, and all the black cats are missing!

Sixty-something cat shelter volunteer Lynley Cannon always finds more trouble than a cat in catnip, but this time it’s not about her. Someone is targeting very senior citizens, and when Bea Landrew, the elderly owner of the Blue Cat café turns up dead, Lynley’s mom Carol could be next.

Handsome Detective Devon is looking for a link between the victims when he makes a different sort of connection— with Lynley! It’s been a long time since the cat lady had romance in her life, but while her mom is in danger, the case comes first.

It appears the cat café will go the way of its deceased owner, but Bea’s grandson, a slick Miami businessman, steps in at the last minute. Arthur is not a cat person so why would he bother? Romeo, the big Russian Blue, senses ulterior motives, but who will listen to a cat?

A black cat rescue, an antique photograph, an elaborate payback. Is this killer seeking justice or vengeance? With death as the objective, the results are the same.

Though Lynley knows little about the white witchcraft, Wicca, she does know cats and can’t decline a plea for help when one goes missing. Then the witch disappears as well. Lynley, compelled by her cat-like curiosity, sets out to search for the pair, but the task is daunting.

A freak snowstorm and a crazed captor take things in a dangerous direction. As Lynley endures the cold dark of confinement, the Christmas spirit brings a strength she never knew she possessed.
